best iced-coffee in town

August 25th, 2008

This post is called: cooling down with a Wiener Eiskaffee. The perfect one comes served with a waffle-heart and consists of vanilla ice-cream and black coffee only. The cold coffee is poured over the ice cream and instantly frozen onto the scoops, which creates a cripsy layer on top. No milk added. Simply delicous.

Awesome clothing with special features

August 25th, 2008

…is definitely something I’d love to design. If I knew how to sew proper… Anyways.
Yesterday I went to the Hangloose Shop in Vienna to buy a pullover and ended up with 3 shirts and some snowboarding pants!

Best part: everything was on sale.

The three shirts cost me 30 bucks and the pants were down to 100€ from 300€. All of the shirt where originally more than 30€ btw. So, really a bargain. I highly recommend buying snowboarding gear in summer :-)

So, what I actually wanted to tell you about was the Burton Sleeper Hoodie. Awesome idea. The hoodie includes a sleeping mask, a toothbrush, ear plugs, a neck pillow (to blow up), a pocket for your passport, one of the i-pod and best of all it has holes for the thumbes. Btw. it’s half price at Hangloose right now. The downside: the girl’s fitting is bad, the hole hoddie isn’t very cozy and the material isn’t very convincing. So, I didn’t buy it, but I might one day if Burton decides to improve the material and fitting.

Here you can watch a video with more information on the hoddie: gadgetvideo.com

The snowboard pants I bought btw. also have a cool feature: you don’t really need a belt, there is a kinda belt included into the pants.

Another thing I had to think of when it comes to clever gadgets is the whistle on my snowboarding backpack:

To make it short: I’m currently really tempted to do my share in improve the world by designing clever features for clothing…

If you have any really cool features among your clothing i’d love to hear more about them…

Kiss & Ride Sign am Praterstern

…made me smile. Apparently a place where you kiss your darling goodbye and ride on. Not to be mistaken with other meanings…

For the first time in years I feel the urge to have a pet, a cute little bunny, who wakes me up and even talkes to me (no need to wait for Christmas Night, yay!).

So, honestly – am I pathetic or would you (secretly) wish for one too?

Auch interessant: Nabaztag heißt Hase auf Armenisch(!).
