Last Thursday Deckchair Orange released their first album at the Chelsea in Vienna. I really got hooked on their single “Rose” and so A. and I went to see the concert. Totally uncool as we are, we got there way too early and the place as empty, except for some soccer geeks. Well, a few Sturm later the place was packed the crowed had changed from soccer geeks to people who enjoy good music (and as I reckon know the band) and Deckchair Orange started to play.

Their music strongly remindes me of The Coral and the Shout out Louds – both bands I really like, but also I think that Deckchair Orange is missing a something like their very own sound. Anyhow, I like still it. Check it out on youtube and go buy their album if you like it and support some young musicians from Vienna ;-)
