Seit meiner ersten Snowboard Tour diesen Winter am letzten Sonntag kann ich’s gar nicht erwarten wieder boarden zu gehen. Ausserdem muss ich schließlich den Winter nochmal so richtig genießen bevors in den endless summer geht ;-)

Also, haben P., A. und ich ein Appartement in Zell am See für den 12.-14. Dezember gebucht. Warum? Weil dort in dem Zeitraum das Soulrider Event stattfindet. Die Schneepartie des Wiener Radiosenders SuperFly verspricht urbane Beats zu winterlicher Hüttengaudi. Während der Freitag Abend eher gechillt angegangen wird mit Besson Modeshow und DJs im Kongresscenter im Ort, ist der Samstag mit von Früh bis spät mit Musik gefüllt, denn dann “warten auf der Schmitten 77 km Pistenfreiheit und heiße Tunes. Soulrider bringt die Spezialisten von 98.3 Superfly auf die Hütten, die auch für Fußgänger leicht erreichbar sind. Die Crème de la Crème der Wiener Musikszene beschallt vier Locations auf bis zu 2.000 Metern Seehöhe.” heißt es in der Presseinfo, was ja einiges verspricht. Übrigens: das Liftticket für die Schmittenhöhe ist auch für Kaprun (Gletscher) gültig, sollte zu wenig Schnee liegen, schon gecheckt.

LeWeb is only a bit more than a week away now the participants list is growing and there is new video from Loic LeMeur online explaining why this year’s theme will be Love.

So far Lukas and I have booked our flight, set up some meetings and finally found a cool and resonably priced hotel in Paris. The mamashelter seems to perfectly fit our needs. There is free wifi, an iMac in every room and not to mention the cool and hip design of the hotel. It’s a design by the wellknown french designer Philippe Starcke, who btw. will be at the LeWeb himself.

This is what it says in their website about the hotel:

We are both suckers for good design, so understandably we are really excited. Also, because I’ve just found out that there will be Kiehls products in the bathroom :-) I guess, there is only one thing I have mixed feelings about: those masks serving as lamps really give me the creeps! I reckon it will be really scary being alone in a room with those masks… I might throw a towel over them to cover them up ;-)
