Vor einiger Zeit hat mich ein E-Mail von Evelina von Earthrecreate in Graz erreicht. Leider bin ich nicht in Graz, vielleicht interessiert es ja jemand von euch.. Die Idee ist gut, nicht ganz unbekannt und ein bisschen aufgepeppt. Trifft sich gut mit dem Wochenende, Zeit fürs ausmisten!

2. Bring deine alte Kleidung und eine neue wird kreiert!

Je nach Qualität und Marke deiner Kleidung erhältst du Bons, die du für neue Designerkleidung einlösen kannst.

Kleidung abgeben: Am Montag bis Freitag, 22.-26. Februar, 9-18 Uhr
Neue bekommen: Am Samstag, 27. Februar, 10-22 Uhr
Location: Rotor, Volksgartenstrasse 6a, 8020 Graz. Kulinarisches von Blendend.

Erwünscht: T-Shirts, Hemden, Hosen, Röcke, Kleider, Jacken, Taschen, Schuhe, etc. Hochwertige, stilvolle Mode!
Nicht erwünscht: Dreckige, abgenutzte, kaputte Kleidung die niemand tragen würde.

So much cool, so little time: Extreme Sledding

I stumbled upon this little thrill this morning I’d love to go for, if it wasn’t so far away.. Ride downhill an active volcano in Nicaragua. Price:
“$23 plus $4.50 national park entrance, includes all equipment, transport, and a free mojito on return to the bar”. Haha, love that the mojito is actually included.

Here’s how the company describes the trip:

After a 40 minute drive to the base, we stand gazing at the black volcano wondering how on earth we are going to climb this ominous mountain. 45 minutes later we are at the top now wondering how on earth we are going to get down.

Kinda reminds me of the sand dune sledding in New Zealand, which I’ve done a couple of times now. Would love to actually take my old snowboard there and give that a try!

Anyhow, with this cute self watering plant pot other plants could stand a chance of surviving in my flat. Whenever the squirrel disappears from the hole the plant needs more water. Easy peasy. The thai company Qualy Newarriva that also sells some other awesome products, eg. the log that disposes paper towels (love the green thought behind it!) and the key ring that you plug in to a fake power point when you get home (on the very left in the lower picture).
